{ Statement of Humanitarian Clerics }
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Clergymen and seminary students have always stood alongside people, considering themselves their humble servants, committed to helping wherever it is needed. Alongside the Red Crescent, we have never hesitated to offer aid, compassion, and support in the face of crisis.
In times of disaster, while providing medical care and emergency assistance, the Red Crescent team attempts to heal the wounded hearts and minds of victims with the help of humanitarian clerics and feels responsible towards their spiritual development as well as their physical health. This collaboration reflects a profound sense of conscience and a sacred commitment to ease human suffering.
Today, as we approach the sad anniversary of the martyr-like passing of our devoted President Ebrahim Raisi, a tireless servant of the people, we find ourselves once again confronted with pain on a global scale. The fires of war still rage in Palestine, Gaza, Yemen, and beyond. The cruel genocide of the people of Gaza by the Zionist regime, compels us humanitarian clerics to put forth our utmost efforts, with courage, wisdom, and precision in order to prevent the expansion of the spiritual damages of war upon humanity.
As humanitarian clerics and Red Crescent volunteers of Jamiat al-Zahra (peace be upon her), we are committed to promoting peace, justice, and solidarity by playing a fundamental role in preventing the expansion of the spiritual damages of war.
We feel responsible to create a safe atmosphere for the healing of the traumatized psyche of the people of the world, brutalized by the scenes of the relentless attacks of a regime, as the rabid dog in the region against the defenseless children of Gaza. As our Supreme Leader rightly said, this corrupt, usurper regime wages war and commits genocide and other crimes on behalf of the colonial powers. And so, we raise our voices in firm condemnation of these atrocities.
Lastly, in the face of natural disasters and man-made tragedies, and above all, the horror of unjust wars, we pledge to remain steadfast. With unity and empathy, we will walk alongside the oppressed people of the world. We will not rest until the dawn of truth rises with the reappearance of the Savior of mankind, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance).
Thank you.
